Golfing
 Golf is a popular activity in the area with three fine 18 hole courses and a challenging 9 hole course offered within 30 minutes of Roseau. Roseau's Oak Crest Golf Course, located along the Roseau River, provides 18 challenging and scenic holes designed by golf course architect Joel Goldstrand. Oak Crest's championship layout will put your golf skills to the test. The course also features a driving range, fully stocked pro shop and clubhouse/snack bar for your convenience.
Just north of Warroad you will find another challenging championship golf experience at the Warroad Estates Golf Club. Again, you will need to bring some water balls as this 18 hole course is located along Lake of the Woods. North of Warroad, Buffalo Point, Manitoba, Canada a new course has been constructed along Lake of the Woods. Lake of the Sandhills Golf Course provides 18 holes carved out of the woods. For a change of pace check out the Greenbush Golf Club (9 holes) which provides narrow fairways, mature trees and plenty of enjoyment.
