Located approximately 20 miles southeast of Roseau on Roseau County Road 5, Bemis Hill is a popular camping and recreation area in the Roseau region. Situated in the northwest corner of the Beltrami Island State Forest the recreation area provides facilities for camping, hiking, horseback riding, picnicking, skiing, ski tours, snowmobiling, and snowshoeing. This is also the most popular sledding hill in the northwest region.
