Located 20 miles southeast of Roseau the Beltrami Island State Forest covers 66,903 acres in Roseau, Lake of the Woods, and Beltrami Counties. The area provides canoeing, camping, fishing, hunting, hiking, horseback riding trails, picnicking, cross-country skiing trails and 120 miles of snowmobile trails.
