The public is invited to the Roseau County Historical Society 88th Annual Meeting. The evening will start at 6:00 pm with a Museum Open House for the new traveling exhibit, “Innovators, Inventors and Entrepreneurs”, followed by a pie social at 6:30 pm in the City Center. Bring your favorite pie to share and sample others. The annual meeting will immediately follow. This is a free event.

LifeCare Medical Center is proud to sponsor The Annual Diabetes Health Fair and the 13th Annual “May Walk/Run” Be a part of this fun, challenging, and worthwhile event! All proceeds will go to the fight against diabetes.
Join the Festivities on Saturday, May 7 at the Roseau City Center.
Diabetes Health Fair: Roseau Area Diabetes Center will be sponsoring free glucose checks all morning. Local and national diabetes related vendor booths will be on-site to give information and answer questions.
A Race for Diabetes (10 am) Registration begins at 8 am with the Walk/Run at 10 am sharp. Arrive early to sign in. For those who are interested there will be 5k races. Registration is $10 for a single and $30 for a family. All participants will receive a free t-shirt, refreshments, and are eligible to win prizes.
Register at LifeCare Administration, LifeCare Rehab Services or participants are welcome to register the day of the event.

The Border State Bank Lucky Border Stars Relay for Life team is hosting their 6th annual Stomp Out Cancer 5k Walk/Run. The event is being held at the Roseau City Park on Saturday, May 14th in Roseau, MN. EVERYONE IS WELCOME!
We are excited about hosting this event as we feel it fits very well with the American Cancer Society’s mission on Getting Healthy and Staying Healthy. Scientific evidence suggests that about one-third of the 569,490 cancer deaths that were expected in 2010 will have been related to being overweight or obesity, physical inactivity, and poor nutrition and thus could have been prevented.
The STOMP OUT CANCER 5K Walk/Run will be raising money for the American Cancer Society ~ ALL FUNDS raised will be donated! Each participant will receive a STOMP OUT T-shirt, promo bag (filled with area coupons/promo items) and refreshments after the race!
BOOTHS will be set-up throughout the day at the Roseau City Park:
• American Cancer Society (news and latest research milestones)
• Relay for Life of Roseau County (Information: event info, team info, slide show of past events etc.)
• Survivor/Caregiver Support Group from Warroad
• Cancer Prevention Study 3 (information and enrollment)
• ACS CAN (sign up and information)

The Roseau Women of Today and the Roso Theater presents “The Good Dinosaur” on Saturday, May 14th at 1pm. Free admission with a donation of a personal hygiene item to help stock the free personal hygiene closet at the Roseau School. Concessions will be available.
The Roseau Women of Today distributes free hygiene and personal care products at the Roseau Community School – the locker is located near the stairs to the track/weight room. It is free to use, available to the public and is supplied through donations from the Roseau Women of Today, Roseau VFW, Roseau PTO, and events like this one.
